Dressing Up Your Wedding Shoes

My sister found these amazing thing called shoe clips. You take a regular or plain shoe and dress it up by adding the clip. My favorite is by Etsy seller bpoetic, the clip style is very similar to the Badgley Mischka shoes I found on Amazon. Now I can have a similar looking shoe at a more affordable price!

The Color Palette

This is our official color palette. It was created using ColourLovers.com . It is an amazing site to find color inspiration. You can create your own palette, browse ones that are already made, and use an inspiration to find out what colors they use. I really love the reds and yellow, and my fiancee really wanted purple so I had to fit it in somewhere.

Turing Old To New

Love these candle holders from seller CarolinaCottage. I can also see this as a dyi project by using simple glass cups and old books that I never read, or simply downloading music sheets and printing them out.

Lacy Invitation Envelopes

I was searching through the We Heart It site and came across this invitation envelope. I am completely in love with and and am going to see if I can make my own, for hopefully a cheap price. I will post a tutorial if I find out how.

I Love Ranunculus

I have found the flowers of my dreams. I had seen them before but I didn't know what they were called. They are absolutely gorgeous and they come in the colors of our wedding (red, orange, yellow, and pink). Flower Growers sells 400 of them for $429 including shipping. Is that a good price? It sounds like a good deal but I don't know too much about the cost of flowers.

Different Center Pieces

I was looking through Etsy for center pieces, either to buy or get ideas from, and I fell in love with two. First are lumies created by ilLUMIEnate. They are made from vellum, printed on, and folded into a cylinder shape. I  really like how it looks so I might buy some vellum and print it on my own printer, add some double sided tape and see how it comes out. The second one are paper flowers, a nice alternative to real flowers without looking cheap. These are sold by 789designs and can be bought 20 for $20, and they come in different colors.
